Can you introduce us in the world of Swiss Trading ? When did you start this challenge and why ?

Swiss Trading Company LLC is registered in UAE and it`s a global enterprise. I am Teba Al Hashemi – Cosentino and the CEO of the  family-owned company. Swiss Trading Company with its international competence was founded in Dubai and acts today with numerous partner on all continents.

Our company offers innovative and future – oriented solutions in the field of Hospitality Industries, Food & Beverage, Realestate and Agronomy.

You’re filling a gap in the UAE business world ?

In terms of our vacation offer at our Resort Walensee in Switzerland, I am pleased to share that we have successfully positioned our offer in the UAE market. Currently, during the summer months, 95% of our guests are from the GCC region, with 60% of them hailing from the UAE.

As far as Rimuss Non-Alcoholic Drink is concerned, we are clearly still in the initial and development phase. Although our products have been available in Switzerland since 1954, we decided this year to close this gap in the MEA region.

Today, we cover the online store for the retail business, as well as direct delivery to the hotel and catering trade, event organizers.. So, we can confidently say that the gap is closing with this unique High Premium Quality Non Alcoholic Sparkling Drink.

We were in Dubai a few weeks ago. The presence of alcohol products is amazing these days, how does this effect your product category ?

Absolutely! While Dubai caters  all desires of tourists and guests, including those seeking alcoholic beverages, there is a growing trend towards non-alcoholic options. We embody innovation and modernity while preserving tradition, and our Rimuss non-alcoholic sparkling drinks are a perfect example of this balance to be in harmony with the local culture and religion. For that reason it would be wrong to compare an alcoholic beverage with a non-alcoholic beverage. The availability of many alcoholic beverages therefore does not affect our products in any way.

We are delighted that you visited our stand at the Saudi Food Show. Following our participation in Gulfood, we have analyzed Saudifood and can confidently say that the quality of the visitors was exceptionally high. As anticipated, our drinks were very well received. We were also honored by the visit of a ministerial delegation led by our esteemed Swiss ambassador in KSA, who expressed a positive attitude towards Rimuss.

Any other countries in the Gulf region where you are already selling ?

As mentioned earlier, we are currently in a development phase. This also means expansion work throughout the MEA. Today, our beverage is already known in the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, , Qatar, Iraq, Egypt and Turkey. We are looking forward to opening up more countries in MEA in the next months.

As mentioned in the company presentation, we are also active in the agronomy sector. We love and live for nature. Currently, we produce about 25,000 liters of high-quality, cold-pressed organic olive oil in the south of Italy. Due to our expansion and business plan, we offer fractionalized ownership opportunities. With Terra Mea wich belongs Swiss Trading Company as the management company, anyone can become an olive plantation owner and olive oil producer.
